Union Berlin meet local rivals Hertha BSC
U19 Bundesliga:
1. FC Union Berlin's Under-19 side are in action on Saturday September 15 at the FEZ-Berlin against local rivals Hertha BSC in the U19 Bundesliga.
Willi Weiße's team will be looking for a better outcome than the 4-1 defeat against Hertha, who won the national title at this level, and the 2-2 draw at home.
"We prepare for this derby exactly the same as other games. A derby is always a special game, but there is no reason to do things differently as other games. Above all, when you are in a good period, like we are. We already started the training week, worked well, just the like week previously," said U19 skipper Maurice Opfermann Arcones.
Hertha started the season with a heavy defeat at VfL Wolfsburg (2-4), before racking up wins against Carl Zeiss Jena (3-0), Osnabrück (1-0), Havelse (3-1) and against Komet Arsten (5-0) in the German Cup.
