1. FC Union Berlin's under-19 squad have arrived at their pre-season training camp in Austria as they prepare for next season's league campaign.

Over the course of 11 days, the team will be put through their paces with the camp culminating in a match against Austrian side Hertha Wels on July 31.

Preparations for the new season have been underway already for a week with the U19s defeating Lichtenberg 47 of the Regionalliga 3-2 at the FEZ-Berlin complex. On their way to Austria, the U19s turned over Rot-Weiß Erfurt's youth team 3-0 in a bounce match.

The planned start date for the 2020-21 U19 Bundesliga season is currently scheduled for the middle of September.
