1. FC Union Berlin's U19 side suffered a 4-0 defeat at the hands of RB Leipzig on Saturday September 22 at their opponents' training center.

Union, who have made a positive start to the U19 Bundesliga campaign, competed well in the first half before the game ran away in the second period. A double from Fabrice Hartmann, as well as strikes from Noah Jean Holm, Oliver Bias gave Leipzig their fifth win in a row. "We could have scored. The goals against were preceded by several mistakes," said coach Willi Weiße.
