Meikel Schönweitz, the head coach of Germany's youth national teams, made the draw on Wednesday, which will see Union head west.
Union lost the Berlin Cup final against Viktoria Berlin, but as a fourth-placed finisher, the Köpenick club qualified through their league position.
The match will be played on the weekend of October 3-4, 2020.
