A Full Program on May 5th:
Inclusion Day at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei
1. FC Union Berlin are to host their fourth inclusion day at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei. People both with and without disabilities will be able to come together to exchange ideas, explore the stadium, play together, and celebrate.
The stadium gates will open on 05.05.2025, the European Protest Day for the Equality of People with Disabilities, at 15:00. The accompanying program includes inclusive stadium tours, a discussion panel on the topic "Union for Inclusion - What are Union doing?", a wheelchair experience course, an inclusive bowling alley, and various workshops.
At numerous information booths, the club, as well as various other organisations and clubs that deal with the topic of inclusion will be there to provide information about their own commitments. Of course, sign language and written interpreters will also be present.
There will be coffee and cake, cold drinks, steak, the famous stadium sausage, and pita breads. The afternoon will be musically accompanied, among others, by the FCU-Oldie-Choir.
Everyone is warmly welcome; however, for better planning, registration here is requested by no later than 25.04.2025.
Inclusion day is hosted by Union's foundation, "UNION VEREINT. Schulter am Schulter". The day is actively supported by the fan and membership department and many other volunteers.
The event starts at around 15:00 and ends at around 19:00. Admission is free.
Barrier-free access to the event and to the toilets for people with disabilities is ensured.
